I bought some old reclaimed 10x2" scaffold planks for around £30. I staggered them up, to provide enough clearance for the bumper, 5 tiers, giving me a total of 10" lift. I chamfered the front of each tier to assist driving up.

Cheap, quick, easy and most importantly, safe. The only downside is that they're big and heavy to store/manoeuvre.

You dont really need to build huge wooden ramps. Just a pair of small starter ones. Then use the normal low entry trolley jack.

I did some for Jaffa after the trouble we had at his first Time Attack round.

The pair I have now are the same and Ive used them on Bobs Time Attack car and both of my own cars......................

I was thinking about making the ramps before but couldn't be bothered lol. I have a load of decking though, do you think thatd be strong enough?
