Stephen and I have been discussing this behind closed doors and we're going to go for a tri-area Christmas party (other areas most welcome).

 

We've decided that Winchester is the best place to hold this (seemingly central to SW, C and SE regions) and the fact that it's actually a really nice city, so a nice place to bring the family for the day.

 

We have yet to decide on a host pub/restaurant, but the sooner we can get names together, the sooner we can get an idea on numbers!

 

Obviously myself and Steve are going to be going, I've spoken with Jimmer and he's hoping to go also.

Yup, all sorted! Been ubber busy the past few weeks and now sat at Portsmouth harbour waiting to catch the overnight ferry to France!

 

Anyway, details are as follows, I booked a table for 12 at 1pm on Sunday the 14th of December near Winchester at a place called 'The Running Horse Inn'. It looks very pleasant.

Just nipping down to LeMans to see my French pen friend from my school days. Awesome guy and we've remained good friends since my early teens! Usually visit 2 or 3 times a year. LeMans isn't too far from either St Malo or Caen, so it's pretty handy.

I just got another Mk1 in grey but much lower mileage with the suspension, brakes and exhaust uprated. I've spoken to Noel who's hopefully going to remap it for me next year :thumbup1: Have you ever remapped any of yours Si?

No, I thought about it though. Mine's a late MK2 170TDi FR+, so it's pretty pokey already.
