Hello everyone,

My name is Lee and i live in Swindon.

I currently dive an s13 200sx but have long been a lover of the 300zx. So i have decided to join up and start soaking up as much information as possible before selling the 200 for its big brother :-)

Looking forward to tapping your brains

Lee

Hi Lee, welcome to the club, get some pics up, I love S13s.

What to say about zeds. They can be a number of things, a cruiser, fast road car, muscle car, drifter, track car.

Mine is a fast road car, but naturally they are a GT/cruiser. A stock one is sort of fast, but not in a fiery way, more motorway monster, very comfortable and a lovely place to sit. If you want somethjng naturally more suited to going very fast, you want a 2 seater hard top, rather than the more common long wheelbase targa.

However my LWB TT Manual Targa, is modified in every aspect to be a very good all rounder. I drive it 400 miles in comfort, it has been tracked, it will dance across a Scottish twisty, squeaking, throttle steering and lunging at the horizon.

These cars are very good... having said that, we have had a lot of bodywork on the forum this year and a few cases of mechanical dramas. Mine has got brittle rubbers and electrics that are currently being swapped for new bits. That is very common, and look underneath, closely.

Good luck mate :thumbup1:

Thanks for the welcomes all.

I would like to end up with a kind of all rounder like yours Tom. A bit fast road while still comfortable and maybe the odd blast round a track :-D.

Funkisy would love to meet up sometime to have a drool over your 300 and have a up close look at it :-)

Here's some pics of my 200.

Have to say i'm loving her to. Just what I was after a good honest zed, no mechanical issues just a little tidying herevand there. All credit ti Si (mondo) Great car by a great seller :-)
