About 4 years ago when my z was my daily driver my horn was going off in works car park on, off, on, off etc. I had to pull the fuse out to get it to shut up, I drove without a horn until sorn.

Need to get my horn fixed before I put my front bumper back on, I have ditched the stock horns years ago and bought some more. I can't get them to work, fuse OK, Relay OK and continuity to the horn wires OK.

A couple of pics underneath to see what I've got, I have tried both spades on the horns and the earths have been done correctly, any ideas?

Would like to use existing wiring if possible.

I know I'm not really helping, but I had the same thing, so left the fuse out for about 6 months until the mot was due and when I replaced the fuse I've had no problems now for about 2 months, so can't explain what originally caused it, I assumed water causing a short, but it's been Ok even in the wet we had recently

Have you checked the spade connector in the steering wheel itself?

No I haven't but I can hear the relay clicking when I'm pressing the horn button, so I'm assuming all is well there

All sorted now, one of the pins was an earth not just the bracket. Only used one horn, its sufficient :)
