Just wondering what ya's think really.

 

So I'm debating on pulling my 99 spec Front on the car, but also considering whether to paint the mounth on the 89 spec one as I think it makes the number dated. D you think it'd look better with that grey bit painted the same as the rest of the car?

 

On a black car, I'd say go the 99-spec route, on lighter coloured cars, 89+ TT is my favourite WITH moustache! Having said that, unless you can get a bumper extension to go on the 99-spec, I'd say get a Stillen extension for yours as it looks unbalanced with just side skirts.

 

I am very fond of the original bumper and the way it tucks in neatly around the front and follows the same contours of the dropsides.

 

So pleased with how mine's come out, you'd not get the same effect on a black bumper.

With your skirts Lee, I'd add the Stillen lip to your '89-spec........:cool:

 

And on a black car, you can lose the moustache and have the whole thing body-coloured:wink:

My TT was black and had the tash colour coded, looks great!

I know a lot of other members will disagree but I think the 89 spec suits the car so much better than the 99 spec.

I like it coloured in and thanks for the picture.

I would be of opposite opinion - I think 89 looks better on a black model with colour coded mustache. The 99 spec loses its pretty details on the dark cars I think.

 

Also you could then sell the 99 spec to me :p
