Those are the Calimari skirts I was thinking about for my re dress. I went through just about all of google looking at "300zx side skirts" and decided by page 12 they were second to none.

This is a long way up my list of prettiest cars on earth

And this spoiler in this picture...

Makes it look like one of these

Ooh ducktail

If that white zed spoiler actually was seamlessly blended into the car. There isn't a smiley happy enough for it, I'll use this one :balloon:

Calimari?!??!?!? You been eating too much octopus? Calamari BTW!

Yeah, the Kaminari skirts are nice as are most of the TwinZ products, except their front bumper which I think looks bloody awful, like a basking shark come Dirt Devil. Their lip spoiler is fantastic though and so is their rear diffuser, I am going to get one of those! I'll probably bring it back as checked luggage when I go to ZNationals in October at Z1 Motorsports.

like this one too 300zx1_zps0ec3a26c.jpg

:hurl:

Kaminari  That second red one looks alright, at least it all goes together. Oh hang on, that's two spoilers, FAIL.

I really fancied a diffuser and the little black fins and lips. But as I had decided I would keep my JUN front bumper, any changes behind it would break the continuity and my rear bumper can't take a diffuser so would need to be changed.

Look again, look at that god awful rear quarter. Looks like it's hewn from a solid lump of MDF, the bumper looks completely oversized for the car....yeah, and then there's the two spoiler deal. I like the wheels though, but the rest look gross. The thing above it looks horrendous.

Made by a company called ASC. It lives out in Florida now, but was originally owned by a guy in California. It was commissioned by Nissan USA for, I think, the LA Motorshow in 92 or 93.

There were already 2 other Z32 convertibles on the market, and I don't think Nissan thought it would sell. Their own rag top NA and the Stramann convertable Z32.

Si, you'll know the car and find a pic I'm sure. The red one with the shaved engine bay that is amazing in its detail. Just got carried away with the stance. Had custom wheels including a matching space saver. Know it?

Yup. That car no longer exists anymore. I forget what happened to it!

stramann Z32 convertable never heard of that one before

American market car. Stramann also did conversions on many other models in the US. It's basically a remanufactured t-top, so you were able to buy it as a Twin Turbo and you were able to buy them through select Nissan dealerships, in the same way you could order Stillen and SR-71 models through specialist dealers.

Friend of mine in Georgia also has one, bought off a buddy of mine in California actually. Here's a photo of it from an LAZ32 meet I went to. To the novice, they are very similar, but notice how the rear part of the waistline swoops up and the angle of the rear deck.

No, that's a real car, I've seen it in the flesh! Painted in different colours now, it's white, gold and silver now and doesn't look anywhere near as nice as it did here.

Can't remember his user name but was Jay something and he had a black SWB. I loved that car, when he went to sell it was so tempted to buy and the wife was trying to persuade me. Head ruled my heart unfortunately....gonna try and dig out a pic.

Found it, not Jay something, just Jay. Still love it even though wide arch not always my cup of tea....
