Hi guys decided to fix this pesky issue. Regardless of the temperature set my car ALWAYS blows hot air, even when the blowers are off hot air radiates into the cabin, its fine in winter but on a hot day it gets a bit annoying. It's almost as if there is a valve that is broken so the heater matrix is constantly being supplied with hot coolant from the engine, is that possible? my Ac compressor and rad etc is all deleted but theres no reason it shouldn't be able to just blow cool air if you see what I mean, like a non AC equipped car.

Where do I start?

I haven't no I didn't really know were to start, it blows out the demister vent only. I've never know it to blow out any other vent.

Had a bit of similar issue when I years ago got car. AC (cooling) did not work at the time (got it sorted later), but air was still much hotter then it should have been even without cooling (AC). My issue was that some friendly previous owner (or dealer) had removed the whole 'cabin temp senor unit' (the one with the little fan built in - just by the interior mirror). Found it when I did AC diagnostic and cabin temp was indicated as -99 or something like that. So climate control decided to keep trying to give more hot air due to the 'arctic climate it picked up from the missing sensor.... Got a 2nd hand sensor unit, and reasonably cold air started to come through. It made a 'big difference'.

If you have Auto Climate - run a AC diagnostic, and see what comes up. May give you a hint what you need to look for.

e cabin temp sensor'

I had similar issue years ago when after fitting the alarm I forgot to reconnect the sensor below the steering column, on the air duct which goes to the driver's door.
