Hi

New to this forum, I have been a big fan of the 300ZX and I am currently looking to buy one, so please bear with me on some newbie questions about the car :)

 

I currently own an R32 GTR which I have been busy building the engine and working on the brake and suspension setup.

    Thanks, still deciding between a swb and lwb. Which do people prefer and is the swb version twitchy?

     

    Also has anyone upgraded the 5 speed gearbox on their to a 6sp?

    Swb is the better track car, Lwb better for drifting on the road you'd have to be pushing it for it to matter.

     

    The 6 speed swap most people refer to is the 6 out of a 350z but the 5 sod is stronger and you won't be able to use 6th properly. If you want closer ratios fit the 4.1 ratio r200 diff out if an NA car.
