You not the only one . Im waiting for my part for a month and still no part or money back

same here from the same seller

This is why I no longer buy from the forum. ive been caught out several times (the reason my Zed has been off the road for so long) and the committee sit on the fence.. i do understand why so not a dig.. therefore I use the forum less and do a lot more research before I buy anything on here... I even avoid meets as there are certain people I dont want to bump into (I will end up banned).. its disappointing but thats life. sorry mods but you feel like you cant speak up, or cut short by people like vods who has an opinion which is wrong and closes the thread before you can have your say and you ended up looking a tit......

I didn't mean to imply he was a mod that I bought from. I'm just saying that if it gets out of hand it will kill this forum. No I didn't get my money back or the item I payed for.

Sorry to hear this as we had an email from the seller saying he was going to sort it. Leave it with me.

i dont think itll kill this forume, but i do think a moderator and or somone with a lot of pull on here no matter who the are trader or otherwise needs a serious slap on the wrist and is to be warned. if any other business or activaties, like that then therll be striped of them., what ever it is they do and if continues get kicked out. i do not think it will kill the good spirit of this place and there is tonnes of posertive stuff going on eveyday from traders and members alike, but sometimes its easy to make a bad judgement call or a mistake and we learn by them and grow into better and stronger people. ive not got what i wanted by way of service or responce on here. so now rather than have a slagging match thought it best just to find and use someone else for my mechanic work and i have. that said i do think some things need to run the course and get descused more, with the moderators watching and commenting on potential harmfull or derogative comments without just saying thats it and thread closed. after all we are all adults. that said you mods do do a grand job and spend alot of time on here. chin up . hell get his money back, and the said person we get a online slap and a warning. that said be happy, and always on here to wind you up with my spelling.

agree 100%

This is the first complaint that I know of from Steve and would like to know if he lodged a complaint to Groover so it could be resolved. I cant ask Groover as he is of duty in Turkey on holiday so let me know guys if you had raised this matter with Grover or any Committee member.

As Gaz has said (more than once on this thread), has anyone affected lodged a complaint with Groover?

And if so, seeing as Graham is on hols for a week, please do feel free to contact Gaz, me or any other committee member to discuss. No-body likes trading deals to go bad; especially in such a small community as the 300zx fraternity. As a club, we have the interests of our members at heart - so if anyone has behaved improperly (even if it turns out to be a moderator, as has been suggested) then as the club's committee, we will still deal with it!

I respect everyone's choice not to name and shame - and to be fair to all, if nothing sinister has been proven, it's probably the right thing - but you can still PM one of the committee! Or e-mail us - richardsmith@300zx.co.uk - garywilson@..... you get the idea:wink:

We're here to help folks!

sorry have to agree. it happens to much. and like i say , if someones got a gripe they shoulnt be shut up, they should me reminded by a mod of the rules and regs and reminded to be constructive as they can with any moan. maybe we need a moan and groan section.

Not taken as a dig mate - and as I said, the committee are always here to help out in whichever way we can. If somebody does not want to go public for fear of thread closures, or whatever, you can always PM or e-mail one of the committee. Our contact details are publically available, just in case anyone forgets...

We run the club for the members - and whilst we may not be able to please everybody all of the time - we'll always endeavour to do our best!!

Sorry to hear that a long time member feels so bad he doesn't want to frequent the club anymore over a unfortunate deal.

Theres plenty of great people on this forum and it would be a shame to leave because of your situation with one person.

I myself was taken for a substantial sum of money once and even after offered a refund and I publicy thanked the person for it I never actually recieved a penny back in the end.

But I wouldnt leave the forum for it as the pure amount of help and generosity I have recieved over the years is far better than the one time ive had a bad deal.

I hope you can find it in you to stay around and also get your situation resolved happily.

Thanks Dave - well said mate!

Such words are sometimes best said coming from someone other than me or the rest of the committee. No one likes to see poor trading experiences and, whilst sometimes the action we can take is limited, we will always endeavour to do our best for all members. We also hope to learn from such issues and hopefully implement trading rules to reduce the likelihood of future occurrences.

It's a shame really as I was actually enjoying the club but it's left me so annoyed that said person dosent care even though it's £85 it's not so much the money it's the principal and the i'm not interested attitude that done it for me on this its not playing cricket as we all should

This is where we need a 'buyer / vender ratings' sub forum. I think people SHOULD name and shame or give praise where praise is due. It would help get things in the open and would stop shady business. Without asking, I know who's ripped you off - that user hasn't been online since this thread was posted, I wonder if they will add their input when they log back in?

Always two sides to the story, best Steve and the "other" party engage in a satisfactory solution using the committee etc. before we see any more eBay style trading going on!!

Steve, don't jump ship and tarnish the entire forum with the same brush, we know and understand your cheesed off, but it's a better place than one poor deal, get it resolved amicably and all move on! Your a great member to have on board.

Silverline, I'm sorry to see this.

Out of interest, did/do you not have the original piping? Or is the seller suggesting its broken because the original stuff wasn't used?

At least this is a step in the right direction for ya.

Be good to have you stay around the forum.
