Looks like i'll be returning to the fold. Just won the Yellow Zed from ebay this morning and should be going down to get it on Saturday. Don't know if i'm crazy about the colour but seems in canny nick and colours can always be changed down the line.

I know i'm taking a huge gamble by buying it without seeing it first but as long as the guy hasn't lied about anything on his listing then it should be a good buy.

Just remember you are well within your rights to walk away if it is not as described, hopefully you asked appropriate questions via ebay so it is all logged. The worst that will happen is you'll be described as a time waster when it gets re-advertised and you might get a warning from ebay.

Yeah, its just a long way to go if it turns out to be crap 250 miles there and 250 miles back. I asked him a few questions when if first came on.

 

don't worry, if it turns out to be absolute rubbish i will walk away. It has to be as described in the listing so if there is a load of stuff not right i'll deffo be walking. I just hope nothing goes wrong once i get it home.

Cheers mate. Biggest mistake of my motoring life selling my last one. It was mint. I'll never have another like that again but at least i can try.

I was tempted to bid on that but my gut kept telling me "don't do it", probably cause I don't think I could live with the colour though.

Yeah, that was my worry. After looking at some other pictures of a fully '99 spec yellow one i may be able to get used to it. If not though, i can always have it re-painted.

Welcome back! Car looks pretty tidy. Needs that awful rabbit hutch mesh removing from the front bumper and some more flattering wheels and it'll be perfect! :)

I couldnt live with the colour but that said Im too old to go for it!
