The resullts of little or non oil, long story but the end result of a mistake made by an apprentice most likely at oil change time:glare:

Heavy knocking and no power, was transported to Zedworld by " the other garage" to see what the situation was, soon as it was run it was clear internal damage had occurred, so whip it out of the car and on to the engine stand for closer inspection.

During the strip down it was found one turbo almost to tight to turn, once the sump was off the amount of side ways movement in no 6 bearing was huge!! and well the rest are well mincemeat!!!

Hopefully the garage who didn't put oil in it will do the right thing.

i have a question with my rebuild with your permission...

The bolt that appears in the pic, (oil feed turbo), has a restrictor or no??

In my build which I fitted Z1 2860rs BB turbos I drilled out the K banjo bolts to about 6mm as the turbos have built in oil restrictor nipples at the end of the supplied oil lines.

thats right antman most all after market turbos have there restricters in or at the end of braided oil line

Dont put these is and you will have problems
