Changed gearbox and still have no 3rd gear or 4th. Can anyone tell me the rpm of when each gear is selected driving normal speeds?

It does depend on the torque when it changes Have you replaced the speed sensor as well or tried a different autobox ECU

Thanks Jeff, its now changing gear I just didn't notice the change, does seem to change at high rpm though...

I will post your Gearbox ECU to you Tuesday, and i'll post Groovers ECU back as well, thank you both for your help its been a nightmare few months! glad to have her back for the summer! ;)

Great news mate, i did notice than when mine was an auto, when cold the gear changes took longer and seemed to be higher up the revs, but once warmed up it was fine and changed nice and smoothly.

At least you know now that it was the box at fault.

yeah went the long way round though didn't I lol. there is a slight oil leak though which the mechanic is going to check Monday hopefully nothing serious. also when I booted it up the road the interior filled with a little smoke......... hoping that's just oil which the mechanic said some did spill during fitting..

Where is the leak coming from, the sump? He may have spilt some on the downpipes when filling back through the dipstick, hopefully he can get sorted to your satisfaction.

He's gonna have a look tomorrow. Don't think it's anything major just glad she's got gears :). Now I can concentrate on spending on her

Make sure your TPS is set right as this can have a big bearing on shift points
