AC Pump

Can ac pumps be reconditioned? Mine sounds like a mouse getting sh@gged..

    Thanks, thought i'd ask, as i replaced mine with a second hand unit that lasted all of 2 months before it started again...

    Got to say, when I brought my zed the guy said it had a replacement compressor fitted. But the clutch was knackered, think it was because it was fitted without any oil in the system which blew the compressor up. So think mine is now on its third :/

    Thanks. Mine still gets cold, just that embarrassing noise makes me get the bus instead...wd40 on the compressor is a very temporary fix in a bind.
