Hi.

Time to sell up.

Spent over 10k on my car in the last 2 years.

Brand new engine, all parts also.

Interior re-newed ect.

A lot of you have seen my progress and knock backs and now with a knock on a brand new bottom end, and lots of work... it's really taken the piss.

Just had enough of it eating money.

It's just been run in by 1500 miles, new gt525 turbos as well from Z1.

Any offers please PM me.

I do not have the skill, time, money or interest to fix it anymore.

I'm sure it's an easy fix for somebody with all the knowledge and tools.

The engine is 88mm wiseco pistons, acl bearings and full divorced downpipe decat.

I have made it into a stunning car and it gets lots of attention.

Thanks.

I am listening guys and thanks... :)

I will call B&L and will bring it up tomorrow Terry.

I've got to go for a job interview at Smart Repair where Liam is.

Remember my mate Leo who wanted an MOT? He is hopefully going to train me and go to a new shop in Tonbridge Wells.

Fingers crossed.

It sounds a bit louder than the previous knock, so maybe a small end rod bearing that goes to the to piston head as these are still OEM.

That boot down the road to try and clear that smoke that time made the car fly and again 25% quicker after electrically contact cleaning the MAF.

Maybe with the bigger tubs = more air it's det'ed?

Not sure what my car is running, or what, but the thing is a monster if you do put the foot down.

Maybe it needed mapping after run in?

NOS did say about a running in chip... gather that was for a good reason.

Sorry, so many questions we are all asking.

I think you guys are right about keeping her though.

Just really pissed because...... well it's obvious ££££££ all the time. GRRRRR

Lol sounds good.

Hopefully we can find out what it is between us all.

Just wondering what happens with Z1 and the tubs as they were sent in 2010 new and were only put on last year.

I had sent them an email asking what to do if the smoke is caused by a doa tub, they said I needed to get a 'review' on them before sending them back to the states.

I asked what that mean but no answer for months.

Shit customer service all round.

so your turbos are faulty as well as the knock ?

so the knock started and the turbos smoked ?

I had a smoking passenger side exhaust after rebuild.

Changed the pcv's and all pcv pipes to sfs silicon.

Found oil in my plenum, few people said give it a boot after run in, it stopped for a good week after doing that, then came back. Weird.

Im starting to wonder if these forged engines are a good idea there obviously very strong but then the old faster faster bug kicks in, then huge turbos pushing it harder and harder and I doubt they would last 10yrs...

There we go. The only weak point of the VG is.... A bad build.

If it's hit 100k miles, refresh the shells. If you're looking for proper power, get it built properly via Jimmer
