Hi - could someone give me a list of what tools I will need to replace my battery. Seems like a stupid question I know but the car is 50 miles away and I'm getting the train tomorrow so need to know what tools to take with me.

MOT time on friday, fingers crossed all goes well!

Cheers

just take a set of spanners in a role that's all you need 2 nuts on the battery clamp and 2 nuts on the battery terminals that's it

You will need to remove the scuttle panel above the battery, so a small cross head screwdriver and some long nose pliers would be helpful.

A small adjustable spanner should be enough. The battery terminals are 10mm can't remember what the tie down ones are as I don't have the stock battery clamp anymore.

10 mm spanner took mine out at the weekend and nothing else and my z is standard

Removed scuttle panel after a bit of a struggle as the screws just kept turning. New battery in car cleaned and Mot passed... Good weekend so far!
