Some of you may know I have an FB page documenting my progress, but since a few don't have/want FB, I'm going to start uploading pics here too as I get time.

As I've said before, not competing this year, time is being focussed on family and home projects, both of which I largely ignored last year! I also enjoy modifying and developing the car as much as driving it, so can tinker away at it through the year, so don't expect fast progress.

Open for discussion, criticism etc :)

Will it be registered as a kit car?

No, but it may have to be certificated by VOSA due to extensive structural changes.

These hoses from pump to bulkhead failed, pic was taken a year ago, but only submerged in fuel in the last week and they collapsed!

checking stuff over on Friday and found the car would start but not run for an extended period and die when blipping throttle. Topped up fuel tank but still the same. Check fuel pressure with 2 different gauges as we didn't believe the reading - 5psi! Amazing it even ran

Took about 4 hours to get the pumps out, source suitable lines locally and refit, but we had 70psi fuel pressure afterwards :)

Rest of Friday was spent trying to get the coolant system to work now that we could get some heat into it, but struggled to get any circulation at all. This was when I called it a day for TOTB.

Apparently quite common problem with bleeding rear read setups, will be trying again tomorrow - fingers crossed

First go at bumper in cf is also done, far from perfect cosmetically as i took some shortcuts to have it ready for Totb. Alas I will have a spare this way and can see where I need to pay more attention second time round. Pics later in the week when I remove from the mould

I was happy with how it ran once the MAP sensor was plugged in and the fuel lines renewed. Won't be long until it's done I reckon :D

Went to sort the radiator out on Monday, raised the rad up nice and high and heard some promising glooping noises as water and air moved around, but couldn't get car started! No fuel pressure again!

Bought the car home, proper fittings arrived today, fitted them and car is alive again :) will try to burp the coolant system tomorrow

Hopefully this is the last I see of the fuel pumps for a while

Radiator is now bled, temps are stable, creep up very slowly at idle, then fans reduce the temp back again very quickly, controlled by the ecu. Fan on at 80, reduce to 75 in 20secs, fan off, but temp kept falling to 70!

Cant wait to see this car at TEN OF THE BEST next year, the GTO boys have been talking smack on facebook, your car should shut them up.

Also wired the oil pressure and oil temp sensors to the ecu and configured a pressure cut to kill the engine if oil pressure is too low eg it throws the pump belt
