Any electronic techs out there!

Here's my quandary: I'd like my ignition ring to light up constantly as soon as the car's unlocked and to turn off when the car's locked. Is there a way I can link into the central locking (or the alarm loom) whereby that'd be possible...?

Please note: I don't want it to be an ignition live!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I would suspect he wants it lit when car is unlocked so that at night he can see where the key goes as he climbs into the car.

Easily done using outputs of your alarm.

I advise to use a delay circuit to light it up for about 30 seconds only until your keys are in and at the accessories position.

If not you risk it being on constant and running your battery flat if you leave your car unlocked.

I've also seen the door light up where you try the door and under the handle illuminates.

Sure Andy could help with doing this.
