May 8, 201411 yr To my disappointment the garage who has my car cannot read the codes even with the correct plug. Anyone else had this issue? Coming to point now where I'll just scrap the car as its driving me nuts!!! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
May 8, 201411 yr They connected it to consult and it did nothing? Or what reader I'd they use? That reads from the ecu iirc so if nothing happens there's either a broken wire or 2 (or bad connection) or the ecu is dead ( or not getting power etc) What is the fault? Have they tried the self diagnostic function?
May 8, 201411 yr Author The ecu is fine. Ive done a self one and gives 55 no errors. Trying to find out what the issue is with gearbox since changing oil. The conzult on the drivers side footwell is what they used. 14 pin grey socket.... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
May 8, 201411 yr Consult should have read something with connected... But just read your other thread about you box, I had a similar problem with my old tt, wouldn't get above second, tried new oil, had it plugged in at work ( I work for nissan and had the master techs looking and laughing at it ...) in the end I changed the box for another I got off a member on here, worked perfect after that. Might be someone with a sparebox going cheap, they aren't that hard to change tbh Edited May 8, 201411 yr by (adl) phoenix to
May 8, 201411 yr Author So your saying its the box? I have tried almost everything and the diagnosic was the last resort before a different box. There's a guy on here that may sell one .... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
May 8, 201411 yr It was the box on mine, and changing the box isn't as much a big deal as it sounds I did it in a morning, admittedly I was using a ramp at work They were laughing because most nissan garages don't like 300's lol, mine in particular had a history of them coming in and being there for a long time, I get nothing but stick for driving one and they think it's great when it arrives on a tow truck lol,
