Having spent fortunes getting the car right I am going take out the engine and gearbox to keep as spare for my race car and sell the rest. This is not a for sale thread and I won't be taking offers for any of the parts until I place it in classified section. I will be taking it to Japfest rather than the race car which will be too loud for the track so anyone interested can look at it there and inspect at your leisure. Most of you know the car as Madmax zed and it looks the same pretty much. Various upgrades and proper matching of parts now this is a serious car. Gets more attention than my race car and is a pleasure to drive. Truly I am selling most of my toys to focus on racing as I work away mostly these days with very little spare time. I've got my zx10r and jeep for sale too :-)

 

Most likely will be selling some of the juicy bits first then then letting it go as a rolling shell. It's got AEM ECU, Racelogic, Tein Superstreet, and have you seen those wheels!!!!!!!

 

Someone will get a beautiful car here and I know my girlfriend is gonna be upset as she loves it.

I haven't thought about prices yet but I'm not greedy will never get my money back so I can assure you prices will be very fair. In reality the wheels are worth a fortune and every time I drive the car someone is offering to buy them. I will work some prices out and put them up when I place the ad. I really would like to let most of it go in one just don't think I will get a good enough return unless I break.

Thanks for the interest guys. I want to be fair to everyone and must wait until I place a proper ad before selling however I will certainly give dibs to those who express an interest in any particular parts. Let's be clear though I will only be selling major items and not splitting bit by bit. Of course I want someone to take the car pretty much as is and simply want to remove some of the gear to make it more affordable. There aren't many cheap parts on this car ;-) I will place an ad later but nothing goes until after Japfest.

Would you be selling any body parts? I'm looking for a boot lid.

I thought it was clear but obviously not clear enough :-) to clarify and so there is no confusion. I want to sell the car as is without power plant or gearbox. Ideally I will remove the engine and gearbox for myself. Then I want to sell the major components that are easily interchangeable and will help to reduce costs for the buyer. So most likely wheels, ECU, Racelogic, and sound system. The rest I would like to sell as a whole if possible. I don't have time right now to go through what's on the car but there's plenty. It will be at Japfest and then it goes to AME for engine removal. Then it can be sold. Me and Pete will discuss at length next Saturday and I will then have some figures.

PS. Be patient it's only a week :-)

Actually not sure I've still got any chrome in there :-) come over and have a look and a chat at Japfest will have a better idea of what's available it's hard to commit but I want to keep it simple
