"Hey kids leave those teachers alone"...The irony of it now.:(

"Hey teacher, leave those kids alone" ;)

Sadly this isn't that shocking. Horrific yes, surprising no. I left school gosh, 12 years or so ago. Things were getting bad even then, the five years of secondary education were as still the worst five years of my life, hands down. Now bear in mind that I live in a part of the country most would consider soft, quiet maybe even old fashioned and backwards but I've seen some stuff in the class room that's despicable. Full scale riots, I mean helicopters, riot vans the whole shooting match, a teacher beaten and had thier arm broken with a crutch because he dared to get in the way of two families if kids who wanted to stab each other and a teacher locked in a room by a whole class who battered the old lady with book and screamed at her until the door was broken down, she suffered a breakdown due to this. Half a pigs head jammed in a kids backpack and several pints of maggots poured in to help with the mess. These are just things I can think of off the top of my head that I've seen.

My partner wanted to be a teaching assistant for primary school kids, ages 5-10! She changed her mind after she realised how awful that was, you can even touch the kids to help them put a scarf on etc, and I can't remember what is was but one of the kids threatened to kill her, she was only there 2 weeks. A colegues wife had a kid tell he was going to slit her throat, he was 8!

The teachers have no power, children and young adults have no discipline and the standard of education is terrible. How anyone manages to get an education is beyond me.

Kid will probably get 10 years and leave prison in 6 - as under 16 years old.

Personally I would lock the kid up and lose the key, this country is too soft

Agreed.

Its time we made an example of this kid, i dispare that anyone let alone a 15 year old thinks its ok to stab a teacher trying to educate them in a school in front of classmates. Im lost for words.

This is mental, for that to even cross your mind at school should warrant you to be secluded from normal schools, but to carry it out is another level...

is the uk there are to many do gooders if thats a word. hang the little t.w.a.t simple as that. we need to pull out of the EU aswell and shut the boarders

Just spotted this...i reversed the wording to highlight the true fact:wink:

Sadly, he is under 16 and therefore a minor...he will get a custodial of about 5 years with early release, just like the Bulger boys did!

Need common sense to prevail and not go the way of American schools, this is a tragic case and really feel for the Pupils and Teachers and especially the Family and relatives.

Sad Business
