Could all members who are attending the 25th anniversary meet at Coventry Transport Museum on July 19th please do the following:

Subscribed Members - please PM me your name and registration plate number as well as variety of Zed.

Registered Members - please email me your name and reg number and variety of Zed to lexx_dring@hotmail.com

This info is to be used to ensure members are quickly and efficiently parked on the day as well as having an historical record of the type/number of z32 in attendance.

Information will not be disclosed to any third party, and reg number information will be deleted from my computer and email account after the event.

An information pack will be sent out to those attending in the next couple of weeks.

I'm also looking for two volunteers who are willing to arrive early and spend the first couple of hours in an official capacity assisting with parking and set up.

Thanks in advance

Richie - I'll add you to the reserve list. You are welcome to come, but you may have to park your car in the public car park round the back.

There is a thread in this section with a downloadable document with the information you need.

update.....!!

We now have 70 listed attendees - with 50 of those having already confirmed their intent to come along by giving Lexx their registration numbers....

To that end we are now up to capacity for those who wish to be a part of the display on Millennium Place - however anyone else is still able to pop along, park in a public car park in the city centre and stroll up on foot.

We are now compiling a reserve list - and priority will be given in the order of registered interest in the appropriate thread. So if anyone already on the list has to cancel for whatever reason, please do say so at the earliest convenience so that your place can be offered to those on the reserve list.

And if you are one of the 70 already down, please pass your Z registration number to Lexx ASAP, if you haven't already!

Thanks - and on behalf of the committee, moderators and events organisers, we look forward to seeing you there!!

Spelling.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

So - how come we don't get a turnout like this at JAE ?

It's an interesting question. We had some shows run a few of years back, Z008, Z009 and Z010 (not sure when it stopped but the last one was cancelled and it never returned) which were actually quite successful.

Maybe the majority of the membership aren't too interested in showing alongside other marques and are more interested in more Z specific show/meets?

Concerning the above. The Z club always ran a show at Billing to which all other Z Car Clubs were invited. Latterly this devolved into the 'Z00' meetings, sadly they ended as together with other reasons Billing increased their rates and we failed to find an organiser. This slot in the calendar has now been taken by The LakeZ meetings and very good they are too.

Also running in August is the Zed - Fest meetings once again organised since 2006 by Z Club and to which all Z Car Clubs are invited. This event was always hugely attended by the 300zx.co.uk club until about 4 years ago. This years event is once again being held on 8,9,10 August. Full details are on the National Events Section. This years event is supported by 300ZX.co.uk, The Z Club and 350Z.com It is supposed to be a tribute to 25 years of the 300ZX marque and your committee have voted a good deal of money into its running but so far there are very few names from this club.

Guys, the events are out there and are great fun, but you have to attend to appreciate that and make them successful.
