A BIG thanks to Lee Dent and Jaikai

May I take the opportunity to thank both these guys . Managed to get a full manual conversion from JaiKai (gearbox is absolutely great )

I originally learnt through the forum that Jaikai's manual conversion was at Lee Dents in Shrewsbury so I thought I would be a little cheeky and ask Lee if he would do the conversion for me. (I am not a great mechanic and don't have much space at the moment)

Managed to get it over to Lee at LA Autos Just after my birthday to get the bits fitted . I also chose to get the decat down pipes from Japspeed for the 300zx.co.uk members price so thought it would be an ideal time to do this with the transmission out . Lee went over my car, used the conzult and has given me a full honest appraisal of my car , He also managed to a fair few deletes around the engine making it a lot neater , sorted out an idle issue , tightened up my oil filter as it was leaking , diagnosed the fact my timing is retarded , fixed my fag lighter (not that I smoke) fixed down my coilpacks with some nice shiny hex bolts , fixed a new piece to my interior that was falling off, and some other things.

He also kept me updated throughout and sent me some nice progress pictures . Top guy!!!

My car is now going great , so much more responsive and entertaining to drive and sounds brilliant!

So thanks again guys! One happy Zed driver here

It seems fine at the moment - still going a little gentle as its new . I researched them a little before going with it and couldn't find anything to really put me off . I believe there's a few people on here using them and haven't read anything negative (on here)

Lees fitting an XTD clutch for me aswel. Hopefully be able to drive it soon & see what it's like.

had had a good look round and have found plenty of bad stuff about xtd. so am very unsure £300 for a clutch and flywheel then most other are near £800 for a uprated clutch and fly wheel so there is a massive price diff must be a reason for this

saw this at the garage and the wheels are sweet and your interior is awesome too! Decent zed there buddy with a clutch now aswell ;)

wow you have got clutch issues , the clutch that came with my manual conversion had a few months left on it so I thought for £180 plus postage its worth a punt . despite the negative stuff out there there is some positive stuff . for £800 you could get 4 of these :) obviously postage on top .

yes indeed so as you can see that's why am asking every one about clutches as don't fancy a trip down that road again
