Does anybody know if the plug/connector on the cruise control ECU changed from series 1 to series 2 or auto to manual? I have a couple of ECU's here that the plug from my JDM 93 man TT won't marry up to.

One is from a JDM series 1 auto TT and the other from an unknown UK spec, both of which have the same socket but my plug is slightly too big for them.

Auto and manual are, I believe the same. I have UK auto CC module in my TT (for speed limiter reasons). The circuitry is the same, there's just an unused input on an auto (clutch switch). Plugs and pin-outs are the same, it's only on the loom that there's one less wire.

 

I don't know anything further on the series 2 model.

Series 1 and series ll plugs were different.
