Hi All,

 

Even though I sold my zed I still read and come here because I like the members and zed's.

 

Even when I sold my car, others on the forum have still helped me with various things (JaiKai etc).

 

I own an Audi at the moment and I am over on one of the Audi forums too... I posted a thread...

To cut a long story short - a friend of mine gave me his old sat nav unit from his Audi - for free. So I made a thread to be basically shot down asking repeatedly if it is stolen!

 

That has never happened on this forum and I actually feel really offended!

 

The reason I posted the thread was to 1, show my gratitude and 2, to point out it was the wrong model but nevertheless it was a great gesture!

 

Sorry, bit of a rant over here rather than there. I feel like kicking someone! Lol

That does seem a bit harsh. Obviously they don't have any good friends.

as there is a lot of stolen audio out there and the thief's asking for override locking codes well the sites dont want to be endorsing/involved in criminal activity

so this does have a knock on problem with Genuine guys like your self with audio problems or wanting to get one running

unlock codes are on ebay for less than £15. I wasnt even asking for a code. anyways.... nevermind. Im gona sell the audi and get a ZX lol

Over recent months I find myself looking on ebay, gumtree and autotraders for zeds. I am afraid one day I might just end up spur of the moment buying another!

I guess people are always worried when people are giving stuff away. I was talking to someone who'd had 2 of those units stolen from her audi . the first and then they came back and stole the replacement.

I know these unit are stolen easily. But I got mine from a friend who has always had audi's and gave me it as a gift. To be honest I was overwhelmed receiving the head unit I didn't even think what others would think. Anyways, I wasn't happy to wake up to 2 email asking if it was stolen!

And to add, if someone stole it why would they give it away for free? Sell it yes, but giveaway?! I dont keep them kinds of friends.

Well, now that you mention it - Audi drivers don't have the best of reputations on the road lol

Their the new BMW drivers lol, last few years BMWs are the cars I'm stick behind with some arrogant lane hogging middle aged person in it and audis are the ones making a bully of themselves.

I have had 3 BMWs and now this Audi... I feel like your picking on me LOL

I'm saving up for a 320d estate for her indoors ATM. Stereotypes are just fun. She drives a kia ATM but we call her carpark Colin, she drives at the speed limit safely on the road but as soon as she's in a carpark I think the redline is used more than brake!
