Hi can somebody advise as to what type of clutch I should be purchase to manage 500 + flywheel BHP, and of course what the likely costs will be also.

There are loads of these threads. I am saving for a conp clutch and fly hoping for some discount from the comp clutch bloke on here. Most people use the rps street max. Ordering from the us gives the greatest choice.

 

From my reading into the matter, what paddle clutches drive like is totally subjective but ones with ceramic paddles can squeak as they bite.

I am looking at 700 for a clutch and a flywheel from competition clutch uk. They have a good helpful website.

 

I think you can get the pair for nearer 500 from the us but with exchange rates and postage and import... I was just gona buy uk. Mine kind of works and has done for a long time. Its a standard plus 25 percent organic jobber I am told. My car has 460 ft lbs of tq and it will slip if you boot it from low rpm. But I dont drive like that and it holds fine with a progressive application of throttle rather than a stamp. That also keeps me on the road and not up a tree.
