Thought I'd start a build thread for my TT. Not been able to do much since I bought her but she was picked up this avo & should be at Lee Dents by now for a new engine. Can't wait to get her back! She looks a bit sorry for herself at the moment. Will add more pics soon.

Lol. It was 8:30 in the morning Bri so think they're all still in bed down there.

Thought I would revive my build thread as the zed is currently at Lee Dents getting a bit more work done. She's there for new gearbox & competition clutch. Z1 FUCA's. Series 2 ptu. O2 sensors & a few other bits. Lee also found a fuel leak which would explain the fuel smell when driving with the window open.

The gearbox seemed a bit clunky when changing gear, I thought the XTD clutch was on the way out but turns out it was the gearbox at fault as there was a lot of metal in the fluid. Luckily I had already bought a spare manual box. XTD clutch was fine but replacing that anyway.

The old FUCA's looked homemade & were also bent. The new ones should make a big difference.

They're hideous & didn't do my back much good. Ghetto upper arms Lee said, lol.

I know. Lee told me they needed changing but I didn't realise how bad they were.

Hopefully I'll be picking the zed up from Lee tomorrow, as long as I don't get stuck in work. The clutch & gearbox have been replaced, new horn, FUCA's, tension arms, lambdas, series 2 ptu, rough idle sorted, service, rear brake light fixed, some missing interior trim fitted plus a load of other stuff I've missed.
