What a great day today, a little low on air temperature but wall to wall sunshine, and even after 4.30pm it was still great, in a corner out of the slight breeze and in direct sunshine the temperature was a balmy 16 deg..... what a day, birds singing, sunshine, the lawn greening up nicely the leaves returning to the hedgerows, reminded me why living in the countryside is tops!!

Another 10 days and it will be pleasent, the fishing season hits closed season then and the weather is always nice as if to give you the finger.

Similar down here too Jeff..... Now we're into March the days are noticeably longer and, whilst there might still be a light morning frost, the sunny days are certainly welcome!!

 

I met a friend for lunch today at a very nice country pub (famously frequented by David Cameron....yup, that one); and it did feel like spring is about to be sprung!!

was really nice to come home from work late afternoon and do a few needed jobs around the outside of the house...wifes been planting her seeds for this years 15 plus hanging baskets around the place and with a bit of luck my 2 robins might be back to nest in one of the baskets again. Its been a long winter:surrender:

Saying it might reach 18C at the weekend:clap:. Will have to get the mankini washed....lol

Looking forward to playing Golf at the Belfry on Friday and Saturday, looks like the weather will be excellent......shame about my Golf though!!!
