Hi all....

Right, after i washed the car at the weekend i noticed that there was a bit of water on both seats. I wasnt overly worried as i hadnt resealed T top rubbers, I saw a thread that Jeff put up putting in some silicon sealant. Did that, but have noticed that at the back of the windows. towards the top there is a gap between the window and the body of the car

Now before i start taking off the door cards to have a look, is there a way to adjust the windows so they close tight against the body?

Sort of, the rails the window run in have adjustable fixings that can be used to effectively make the glass a tighter fit, however the rail that goes up the back end of the door up towards the top where it meets with the targa seals can come loose, also there is a small plastic guide wheel affixed to the glass that runs in that guide and they can wear / break and will mean the window is loose and will not seal.

Bit of investigation work required to just assess what you have got at the moment, it maybe just the rail adjustment is required, good luck with that.
