Anyone know how to get cheap insurance on a second Car (cant really afford to run my Zed everyday!!)

 

Am i right in thinking that you cant carry your no claims?

how old's the Z? got a great deal just yesterday, but Z's gotta be ten years or over old! £497.00 I was impressed with that, thats on classic car ins which leaves your NCB free for another car!

Realistically, having 9 points should make the insurance cheaper! If you've got that many, you've got to drive slowly to avoid getting banned. And, if you do get banned, you're not driving the car so you can't crash! Maybe I'm in the wrong job and should become an insurance broker...

I was looking into getting a second car and had the same problem as you. Unfortunaltly I didnt put my Z on classic insurance and I if I wanted to change it I would have to cancel my policy and start a new one.

Speak to your insurance company. My one gave me 1 years no claims on a 2nd car.

I was all ready to do it when my clutch went and the money has been spent keeping my Z on the road. DOH!

They are very helpful, or at least they were with me :D
