Hi peeps.

Having massive trouble fitting this auto window closer.

Wiring diagram is so vague on Nissan's side and on alarms side.

Been here hours now with multimeter and still cannot find the window switch for either side.

Can somebody help please.

All I can see is the motor wires are blue and green.

I don't need to go into the door to wire this on the passenger side.

I have the driver's door card off only.

It's a Hawk HA-64U window closer unit.

Thanks.

The auto-lift module is best fitted in the drivers door, the auto lift box is where you need to connect into, despite it not looking like it both windows work through it, an additional power cable from the auto-lift module to the drivers side window switch is required to power the system with the ignition off, should be a case off three of four connections, most lift modules are universal and because of that look more complicated than they actually are.

says...

Window closure - positive to lift

Nearside front positive - White&Black wire in door loom o/s/f kick panel

Offside front positive - Green wire at motor In o/s/f door

So do I have to wire in the door, kick panel or both?

Lol crazy.

I've got the remote central locking working and actuator, installed a bonnet pin, siren is in, ultrasonics, remote start....

But this is shit.

Are you sure!?

I'm in Kent bud...

I'll be up for it, the car is at a friends as an extension lead runs to my soldering iron here ;)

I'll PM you and thanks.

Unbelievable, have been helping this guy via pm to sort his alarm fitting problems. He txt at 3.30pm this afternoon saying still couldn't sort it and could I have a look as I'd offered. I said no problem but I'm up at millbrook proving grounds in Bedfordshire and wouldn't be leaving before 4.30pm but would be going back round to croydon across the QE2 at dartford so would detour down to his in sittingbourne kent!. Ok that's great was the reply.

Got there at 6:50pm after texting earlier to say was about 15 mins away and guess what?

Nobody in apart from his mate who just said "he's gone" and shut the door! No answer to texts or calls. Wonder why I bother sumtimes!

I've already aplogised and offered to pay petrol.

Funnily enough... Just driving SLOW up to Maplins to get a battery for the alarm remote before Paul comes as it's dead...

I get pulled up, nicked and spent a f!!!!!! Night in a cell.

Wrongful arrest.

I'm not happy.

Again, sorry Paul mate.

I'll catch up with you next if or when you go to Terry.

If not I can scan my fitting instructions on here if you could advise please.

I found them Paul....

Hi Anthony, I am not surprised you've had fun looking at those diagrams...... not exactly easy to read unless you have experience fitting alarms.....

How comes you didn't go for an insurance approved alarm installed professionally to get some insurance discount?

Securicar knows what he is doing and is a top guy...... he will be able to sort it for you...... great club spirit....:thumbup1:

Hope it all gets sorted soon......

Terry..... Again top club spirit with your helping members again.......:thumbup1:
