what would cause a standard boost gauge to not work it obviously sits on 0 when the car is off but as soon as i turn the ignition on it goes a quarter way up and stays there even when i start the car and drive it doesn't seem to move one bit !!

is an after market boost gauge better i so are these easy to fit ?

Thanks Ben :)

Either the sensor had failed the or gauge itself. They are notoriously inaccurate anyways and only read to like 10psi

Just need to run a suitable a line from the plenum to the gauge. I've got one to fit but I just can't find a gauge pod I like.
