figured id start a new thread, as ive mentioned about my surprise find a fews days ago ive taken out the centre rear light panel and took apart one section to show what it was,

i thought it would've been a simple led insert but it wasnt. from the pictures you'll be able to tell what was done and where, not much to it but the top lense had to be pushed in and glued in place and the edge has been cut away for the led board to fit. the backing cover also had been cut to allow room for the wires

These were done by a guy from the UK who used to be on here I think.

I cannot remember the guys name though. He used to do full LED conversions for the rear lights too.

I "think" he ended up shafting some customers, but I can't 100% remember. Some of his vids are still on youtube of these products

Theyre the autorestro ones. I have certainly not heard of him ripping anyone off though. He did stop making them a while back, I have some new ones waiting for me to fit

I got fog and reverse from autoresto in 2011. Still working fine so far :)

Zedwizz wasnt a trader here and did indeed design the boards for the fogs, reverse and rear lights, seemed to have disappeared unfortunately but took the time to compete with clearcorners and did a better job IMO

I bought a pair of these a few years ago & can't remember where I put them.

Hence I said "think". Certainly no slight implied, I've likely got traders mixed up.

Hence I said ID not heard of him doing it!
