well I took my Zed out of the garage and started her up...gave her a good wash down inside and out and under the bonnet

put her back to bed an hour later and there was a puddle of oil where she had been stood .looking under the hood I could see nothing

looking round the block I could see nothing....it is not central to the block so not the sump plug ..its on the drivers side about 16 inches from off centre line...

its quite a significant puddle about a foot in diameter....my thoughts are turbo oil feed line..i have PE 1420 turbos...is there any other thoughts on this ??

I don't have ramps low enough to get the car up on to have a look see either :(

Nice, you can't get an easier fix on a zed than that, lol

Well done Spin Doc for the great technical advice lol. Sometimes its the simple things we miss isn't it Steve. ;)

Im 44 and always found, that its the smallest of things in life that can have the biggest impact, and the simplest of things that can turn into the bigest of headaces. Thats why i always start a job from the begining. Remember your A.B.C.s. lol

Iff the motors breathing right as in crankcase vent/PCV valves ect there should be zero oil coming out the top of dipstick tube...and deffo not enough to cause an oil leak.

This very same problem can give the symtoms of tub seals gone bad..the Gravity oil return from the tub cartridge cant return fast enough into the sump because of positive pressure and the cartridge fills up resulting in oil getting past the seals:wink:
