Fog Light Switch Funny Function

Here's a funny one. Ignition off, Light switch off. press the driving light switch, (3rd button down on right hand pod) lighting system behaves as if i have just turned the light switch on ??? i cant remember from my last Zed if this is "de rigueur" or bad wiring.

Any comments.

Mine has always done that. Thought it was just bad wiring!

Quite a few imports do that. Fog lights work with the ignition turned off. If you have corner markers, you'll find they come on too. I think it's a 'park light' feature.

Okay Then, looks like it is meant to be, Can you tell me if front driving lights are the same as front fogs...?

'Driving lights' is a bit of an ambiguous term. The 'button' you're pressing is the fog light button. :)

So when i press the button should one of the rear light sections light up as well as the front lamps?

If you have an import & one or two of the brake lights have been converted to rear fogs then yes.

More often than not, either one of the fog lights or an aux fog light is used.
