Bloody annoying - or it is just me who thinks so......

...But whenever I open a web page now, be it searching for a recipe or to watch a YouTube clip or the like; or even opening up Yahoo's home page, it seems that the 'net is consistently bombarding everywhere with bloody adverts...

I don't so much mind the static ones in the background - as long as they stay in the background and do not enlarge if I happen to run the mouse over the tiniest of corners - but the bloody 30 second video clips that precede a news story (especially if you can't "skip" them) really get on my nerves.....

I know companies have to hock their wares; and the web page owners have cottoned onto a money spinner, but really? It's just too much now...

Richard:death:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Dont think its a virus ?

Those wee 5 sec things on Youtube that you can skip are sorta ok, but when I have to watch a 45 sec commercial for Canasten Thrush, just to get to a 25 sec vid for a shark eating a man, it slightly, gets on my man boobs !!

Why does whisky make you type funny ?

Ditch symantec and get Eset NOD mate, it's a much better AV and doesn't hog system resources (slows done your PC).
