Hello all.

Can someone confirm this for me as I keep reading conflicting opinions on the subject.

R32 gtr coilovers are a direct fit front and rear although spring rates are slightly different?

R32 gtst coilover do not fit front or rear.

Can anyone confirm exactly which adjustable arms of which cars (s bodies, skylines etc) will fit my jap tt.

I would like to buy second hand and z32 coilovers don't come up as often.

I would also like to delete the hicas but would rather replace the rear end for none turbo parts than fit a hicas delete bar as I would rather simplify things and have less to go wrong and I hear the diff is a better ratio for drifting. Is there a guide anywhere that explains what parts I need to do this?

Thanks guys.

There's a guide on the Nico forum that tells which bits are interchangeable.

The rear sub frame na swap utilises a shorter ratio. Use the search box up top there's loads of treads and pics.

I've searched and read loads of threads on the subject but as I said I keep getting conflicting information. I just wanted someone that knows to confirm what I posted above is correct. I have read the thread on nico forum.

I would love to buy new but it will take me years to save up. I may just get some springs and shocks for now.

On a different note, I've been offered an na complete rear subframe, from a local(ish) breakers for £200, is this a good price? It includes diff, drive shafts, hubs, half a prop and the brakes! I could probably sell the spare brakes on drift works for £150!

Sounds like a good deal to me, especially if you can sell on the parts you don't need

I will see what condition the parts are in first, they may be worth keeping as spares but would make it a very good buy if I sell them on.

So going back to the original question.... does anyone know for certain? It would certainly help broaden our search for coilovers.

R32 gtr skyline coilovers fit from what I have read. The top mounts on the rear may need grinding down a little and the springs may be slightly different due to the extra weight of the z but they are adequate.

I am sick of reading different threads on the subject. There is nothing on the FAQ on here and google pulls up lots of conflicting opinions. It comes down to the fact your not going to get better than the ones made for the car. Second hand coilovers for the r32 aren't that common anyway and if your buying new you would buy the z32 ones.

On another note, if it's a frequently asked question, which it obviously is as the most common answer is "use the search button", maybe a definite answer by someone that knows should be in the frequently asked questions thread. Seems daft to direct people to other zx forums when we are on this one!
