It Must be a TT if it's had it's HICAS disabled........

Doh, good point LOL

It Must be a TT if it's had it's HICAS disabled........

I thought that - but having scrutinized the pics, I'm not so sure....

It's a 1991 model, so a TT would have the boost gauge - and I can't quite make out whether it does from the quality of the photos. Also there is definitely no cruise; I was under the impression that a 1991 TT would have had cruise as standard..... Only later import models started dropping the options; earlier spec cars were virtually the same as UK spec, albeit with the exception of leather being almost the norm on UK cars.

It does look a tidy SWB though; and I do love that interior re-trim!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Cruise control on a manual ?

Yup - IIRC all UK spec cars came with cruise mate; manual or auto. So it is a possibility imports would follow suit! Which is why I thought that the early cars (TT) came virtually fully loaded - it was only in later years that Nissan started to skimp on the specs:wink:

HICAS was an option on the NA; at least it was on the early models, so it still could have had it and been disabled later!

As said, I'm still not sure either way - best thing would be to ask the seller if it is a TT!

just waiting on a reply, told my friend to ask for photos of the sills as well an engine bay picture.

It was up for sale on eBay a couple of months ago. It was priced at £1350.00 buy it now. I saved it that night but the following morning it was gone. I had the guys number from the advert as it was in my 'watching' list, so contacted him to say I'd be interested if the sale fell through. Apparently a guy was coming from Germany. He sounded like a right geezer on the phone, said "how well it goes sideways, it's a right proper tool and a great laugh". Also said it was a bit rough around the edges. It is an NA.

The guy from Germany never showed and I was still interested in going to see it as it was so cheap. We arranged a viewing for the next day but then got a text simple saying "car is sold".

Guess its had another owner inbetween then and now.

The interior pic and the one outside the nice house are from the ad that was placed a couple of months ago.

He did mention at the time that the heater matrix needed doing, so it looks like the latest owner has had that expensive job done. I'd say it's worth a look, nice looking car.
