I don't think we will get what you guys are expecting.

The z33/34 both performance and budget wise are more like the s13/14 they're certainly not upto par quality and performance wise to what the z32 was 25 years ago. The z32 was equal to the r32, the z34 is no where near equal to the r35. The r35 really is an r34 z32 concept, coupe looks v6 platform 4wd and bags of power. So niether skyline nor zed hence why the skyline badge is dropped opting for simply GTR.

I would expect the new z35 to cone with various options including a 4pot turbo. Don't go expecting a sleek 5-600hp super coupe :(

Will be nice to see a new Turbo Z

It does indeed sound promising.....

.....But will we get what we are expecting? Not necessarily..... In all possibility, Nissan could follow the trends being implemented now by BMW and Mercedes etc; in replacing big NA engines with smaller turbo-charged units. Just like with the M3 - the old one was a whopping 4+ litre NA v8, but the new one is a 3 litre in line '6' TT unit; and the old 6.3 NA v8 Merc AMG unit is being gradually replaced with the 5.5 TT v8 unit...

Hopefully Nissan will retain the v6; albeit returning to forced induction and not dropping below 3 litres.... But don't be surprised if they announce a 2.0 in line 4 cylinder TT unit....

I do sincerely pray that I'm wrong though; and a return to the "best" Z-car set-up will prevail...:hyper:

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Well they did the same with the new Toyota sports car and the range rover evoque, smaller engines to come inline with the eco squad

Why can't they offer multiple engines? A 4 pot base model, a V6 TT mid range, and a terrifying SC'd V8 for the nutters.

Cost. That's why. I can only hope!
