I have what I think is a shagged strut top - this being the rubber/metal composite mount between the strut support and the shock. I get like a mild squelch noise over rough ground, so assume rubber deterioration.

There are a number of parts it consists of. If anyone has had theirs go, what parts did you find had failed/weakened?

I think it's either this, the strut top :

Or this, the insulator:

Im not to sure whats failed, but if u need one I have another zed with these on.

It drove fine with them but obviously there used u can have them for free...

I know u really like your oem stuff but something like meister r would come with new ones...

I don't like OEM stuff 'that' much. Overall appearance and design cues of the exterior and interior, yes, but mechanical components, I am happy to upgrade and I have considered MeisterRs actually. But not yet, I want to do a few other things first. I spent quite a lot on the Tein springs and KYB shocks and not sure I want to ditch them so soon.

Appreciate the gesture too, I'd love to have them. I'll take a good look at them for sure.

....PS...the second one down, ie the insulator is handed.

I'll pull them off and write on them what side there from, hopefully if not raining I'll do it at the weekend.

I have meister r but never driven with them yet, I know u liked them looking oem and thought u may be the same with suspension lol no hard rough bumpy ride.

TBH, I think the Zeta-S versions have a lower poundage rate than the Tein S-techs and would actually offer a more comfortable ride. Tein springs are pretty hard and best suited for the track. If I did get the Meister-R, I'd have to powercoat EVERYTHING black. Red springs and strut tops - yuk! lol

I am not in a hurry for them as I won't be taxing it for the summer until April, so whenever you get a chance. :)

Lol I'll get them off pm your address soon has there off I'll post them out.

On mine ive got over spray on top mounts, my plenum and hose are all blue so cant have red top mounts so there going blue lol...

What have overspray on them? The coilovers?

Yeah ok, sure thing. :)

Yeah my coilovers when I sprayed my engine bay,

I got primer on them. The red bits where u can adjust soft or hard.

But im gonna paint them candy blue to match the plenum...
