I have just managed to drive from Basildon Essex to WORKINGTON in Cumbria which is a total of 344 miles. Filled tank with sainsburys unleaded in Basildon and then drove at 80 to 85 mph on the motorway and for the last 50 miles it was all twisty B roads through the lakes.

I Love getting over 300 miles to a tank! - makes me remember how affordable zed life can be as that is better than I got from my prelude. Vtecs are thirsty!

My old one could just about manage 300 on a run. This one is much better and does over 300 easily.

No, I'm now upto 367 miles and the light isn't on yet? This is genuine mileage off google maps navi

They reward 80mph cruising. I've had 30mpg out of mine on a few occasions, I've also done like 10/12mpg average over a journey.

I have no doubt about 344 miles being achievable, but if it were me, I'd expect the tank to be almost empty....:wink:

Doing better than me then, I drove from Bath to Kent and it was just under half left. I did stick to errr yeah 70 err whole way.

Just drove another 22 miles and still going. It's also very strange as normally on this journey a full tank gets me from Cumbria down to the M25 at the end of the M40?

Works out about 28mpg , sounds about right for a Long journey.
