i took car out earlier and i done around a 30mile round trip, i parked car up and went back to it a hour later and it done 2metres and just cut out and theres was a noise from the rear which sounded like liquid wooshing, i tried starting again and it just cuts out with same wooshing noise from rear, has fuel pump possibly gone?

first thing i checked, haha. it sounded like there wasnt petrol getting there so i'm was thinking pump or modulator. just started it up there and it drove faultless. eh!

pump on the way out or a bad earth somewere. were on the car have you been working lately were as u could have disturbed something?

Check the fuel pump relay first before delving into the tank, might just be corroded terminals

havent 4a while, its being stored outside so you could be right.
