January 7, 201411 yr Hi may as well get all these things answered as im here , the oil gauge between the speedo and fuel gauge can anyone tell me what that should be reading? Mine always sits just before the 2 (first digit) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
January 7, 201411 yr that sounds a little low... but it isn't a conclusive sing that you have oil pressure problems.. it's only a sign that the gauge is showing you a low pressure. this could be because the gauge isn't working correctly. it could be because there is a circuit/wire issue. it could be the sender unit or connector has issues. do the cheapest, easiest checks first.. check and clean the connectors to the sender unit (passengers side of the engine beside the sump). if that doesn't help you can take the clocks out of the dash and check for corrosion and clean the connectors. next would be to replace the sender unit (I had to replace mine, I think it's quite common) and obviously make sure you're not using too thin an oil (particularly for a stock original engine).
