Has any of you out there happen to have a red ZED with a black or carbon wrapped bonnet?

 

My car is not the original red (has been re-sprayed in the past) and I have a bonnet in a different colour, and I have no reference to which red paint was used and have found it impossible to colour match it to the car, arrrrhh!!

 

I have had a mess around with Photoshop, but nothing beats the real thing.

 

I have been thinking about wrapping my SE Nissan bonnet, but I'm not too sure?

 

Any thoughts,help appreciated as always.

Keep your bonnet the same colour dude - so much cleaner! Black bonnet makes the car look like it's been involved in a shunt and a cheap unpainted pattern bonnet fitted.

mines in a new paint it comes out like a satin black and drys matt not glossy when dry. but looks shinny in the wet if u now what i mean. heres mine.

its a new paint i did also paint my front lower wing and it will polish up if polish is used but if you just use the norm car wash shampoo with wax in it it willnot buff up unless you want it to mines had now loads of waxs and washes and looks really good , was going to use a wrap but wrap lifts scractes easy and dont look as good in my own opion i tried it and didnt like. see what u think?

that all said funkysi did this and im going to be painting mine back to orange laters. here funkysi has made my mind to paint it he did some photo shop for me and could do some more. anyhow heres how funkisi made my mimd up.

Yeah, you're right guys. It's the clean long lines of the front that give the whole car it's smooth look.

 

I suppose I will have to save my pennies for a re-spray.

Ooooh, might be sending some business your way in the future then. Not too far at all, always around and about Norwich. We'll have to meet up somewhere in the spring, maybe part of the EA meet scene.
