not a easy job i know, but no one person wants to this. well that sends a message out to the forum users. dont think about doing it cas no one wants the work ?

Drive it to kent one weekend and I'll do it for u, converted mine to na, im a mechanic/mot tester so it will be done properly.

And it will only cost u your fuel....

no its not that changing the rear end .. its replacing the bushings with in the sub frame that he wants doing

I have a press at work but I took them out my tt sub frame by heating them up and knocking them out, it wont be a problem.

I have bought a compleate na rear end with everything to change from a tt to a na rear end and i thought it would be better whilst there would be better to change bushses. and Terry if you have done it before and my brother lives in dartdord so its sounding good to me.what do you think im best to do with ref to bushes ect?

N/a doesn't have hicas. Also the final drive of the differential is different so you get a lot more acceleration at the cost of your top speed.

There are quite a few threads about this, it changes your final drive to make all the gears a bit shorter. This makes the car accelerate harder but depending on your tune more wheelspinny and possibly too quick through the gears to boost properly. And it doesnt have hicas.

If u have new bushes then we will replace them mate. I live about half an hr from Dartford.

Last time I burn the rubber out and then hammered the sleeves out.

But I ended up going with an na diff and bushes were ok so just used them.

When I was going to replace bushes. Sure some kits needed sleeves left in and some u could buy with sleeves...

If u want to replace them just find out what bush kit u have and if u keep the sleeves or not.

I havent got a clue mate i just whilst we are there then thats the done thing and i also thought if there replace with solid one then they will be done forever and like i say i dont know im a bit thick when it comes to things like that, am i right in thinking its solid ones for the subframe bushes. then diff bushes and rear suspension ones dont know witch way to go for the best.and thats weather im needing them atall i dont no ?

my mother aslso lives down that way aswell in mepome anywere near you although prob not spelt right.

once you did yours did you feel the difference.? i have 275 35 on the rear so shoulnt get to much spin at the rear with proxes in the dry.

It made the car feel lighter and pull better in any gear.

Mine would spin up a bit easier but felt more controlled and predictable cause hicas is gone.

I wouldn't use solid bushes on my car would have thought you will get vibration and be more harsh, but it depends what you want from the car.

Me personally if the original bushes are ok and not dripping etc I'd keep them and maybe use some locking collars.

But if u really want them changed I found some on I think z1and there poly bushes which had sleeves or u will have to try save your old sleeves which is harder then just knocking the whole lot out...

I have mainly fitted standard original stuff to cars so not to clued up on the performance stuff to buy.

maybe open a thread on best subframe bushes to buy and where from.

or if it the original bushes are ok just save some money and leave them alone and buy the locking collars to stiffen it up a bit.

Not really sure on where your mum lives maybe u spelt it wrong lol.

but if u keep original bushes its only a few hours work.

The only problem I have seen on some zeds is getting the bloody exhaust off if it aint been off in a while.

done that with my cousins clutch takes about 3hrs on my car, cousins car all the bloody bolts snapped and was a pain in the a@#e lol
