Just after some opinions on value of a zed, 1996 N reg, NA auto, 2+2, 1 owner, 32000kms red, very clean original and solid, 12months MOT 6 months tax. Thanks.

With the mileage that low - quite a bit. Especially if mint and has all that MOT. It would be nice to get it below £3k...but if it is unmodified and completely original I have seen prices a lot higher..

It doesn't have the digital climate control unit on this one though, has a rotary knob and a temp slider on the side and no cruise control either....

That is more desirable buddy as with the auto it just blows where the hell it wants. Whereas with that one you actually have control! So that is no bad thing.

Is It the one on ebay in Thurrock ?

We got Jans from that place - an auto NA Version R and it's a fabulous car. the guy is really good and genuine, I'd go back to him and ak him to source me another when I want another !

Im out of touch with 300zx values these days. The NA Auto is the least desirable of the models unfortunately but It does have the low mileage and later model year in its favour. Condition is far more important than mileage with older cars though.

Series 2 onwards Digital allows you to control the flow direction. Series 1 does not.

The lack of digital AC is because it's a 96

Series 4 (95) onwards have manual climate controls. Digital ones were discontinued.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

Looks like a nice 1 he has had for while though so may be open to an offer.

As Yowser says then combo of NA with Auto fairs low on the desirability list. A manual is better suited to the NA engine. However, a test drive will show if its the car for you.

Value wise I wouldn't pay more than £2.5K

If its on ebay I must be blind. I see a 1996 Manual NA and a 1990 NA Auto, both overpriced, but no 1996 NA Auto.

2k max if it's showroom condition for na auto

And people wonder why Zed prices are so low. When the owners themselves are putting values like this on them it's no wonder the prices are so low.

Generally market dictates pricing. NAs, as with all Z32s, seem to vary wildly in pricing. Early NA Auto LWB models tend to go for that which I think is where these valuations are coming from. You can pick up ok ones up for around £2k and lower in some instances. NA, SWB, slicktop and convertible versions will add between £1k and £2.5k on top of that, again depending on condition.

Early TT autos can be had for as little as £2k, not the cleanest, but there you go.

My opinion is that at clean example (which are becoming rarer), those with no rust, dents and questionable body modifications SHOULD be worth more. I think a clean late model NA LWB Auto should be worth between £2.5k and £3.5k depending on condition. Generally, the market is smaller for the NA as the majority tend to look for the TT model.

It has been many years since I saw a 'showroom' Z32 and certainly an NA Z32 in 'showroom' - that means 'as new' condition, is worth more than £2k.

Always makes me laugh people's idea of what a 'mint' or 'showroom' car actually is. Maybe it's because I have high standards, or maybe it's because I am realistic. A 'showroom' or 'mint' car should be JUST that. Very very few around that I'd consider as either. I wish my own car was.

I have high standards on mint and showroom too, the zed I just bought is what I would class as mint condition, there are no dents or marks anywhere, all paint original, all trims on outside are perfect, windscreen has no chips, interior looks like new, all switches and trim have that new look about them still, only mod from factory standard is a nice pair of stainless rear boxes and remote engine start system, I'm a fan of standard original cars, I love some of the mods people do carry out on their cars it's just not my thing, it was years ago but now I appreciate a genuine original car more. Getting old I guess.

I wouldn't mention the remote start if I was you. You won't be able to insure it if you declare it

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's when they look their best.....like any classic GT car.
