Oyster topped up, check; earplugs for the missus, check; my old denim jacket - well, er, I know where it is but it seems to have shrunk several sizes just sitting in the wardrobe for a few decades. Can't think how that happened.

    I remember seeing them at the Hammersmith Odeon years ago. Got in on a free ticket I was given, but arrived late and watched

    the concert standing up at the back. They played LOUD! There was row upon row of seated fans headbanging all the way through

    the set - just brilliant!

    One band I would have lived to see in their day, I've seen a few bands like this ie not in ther original format and it's never the same :( of my two favourite bands I've seen one and a half of them.

    Unfortunately the half of a band I've seen I will never get the opportunity to see in full, as the guitarist was shot dead live on stage 10 years ago. And the missing member I've not seen who is still alive but incidentally also died for a period from a heroin overdose, as far as I'm aware had retired from the public eye.
