Mine have never worked, I think the pump is broke on mine as can't hear it working, are they supposed to spray with every spray of the windscreen washers?

Thanks, Dan

They should have their own button incorporated into the light switch on the right hand pod. If yours have been replaced at any point in its life, it's likely it could have been replaced with a JDM pod which is just the light switch on its own.

Rubbish photos, but you get the idea....you can see the button on the headlight switch of the UK labelled pod.

Mine worked but when i changed the front bumper of i just pluged the pipe up, im now glad i did cas my main wash pump stoped working so i just swapped the pipe over so now have screen wash again

When I re-fitted mine I manged to get the outlet facing the wrong way. Was funny as when I tested it. Looked my headlights were having a very big pee..lol

To answer the question, on a UK spec car, there is indeed a separate button for the headlamp washers - on the headlamp switch itself as posted in the pics above.....

.....And it only works when your headlamps are switched on!! So to test, with the headlamps (AND ignition) on, press the button; you should hear a "click" from the relay behind the OSF wing and the wipers should also perform 2 or 3 wipes. If none of that happens, then your (brown) relay is dead and needs replacing - as said, it is just inside the wheel arch of the right hand front wing to the rear of the wheel (near the side indicator repeater)..... Replace it!!

Once you have done that (as I did today) try again (with headlamps and ignition on) - if the relay clicks and the wipers sweep; that's half the issue solved. If the headlamp washers still do not spray, listen for the motor engaging - if it does, then your jets are most likely blocked.... If it does not engage, then the motor is most likely dead (like I found mine is today). If the latter, you need to replace the motor - I believe it is just behind the front bumper under the OSF wing, attached to the washer fluid reservoir...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
