I bought a huge mound of haribo ( yuck) last year but I was away on Halloween. My grumpy other half didn't open the door and we were left eating it till Christmas :-/ this year I have brought Cadburys heroes instead and I'm secretly hoping nobody comes!!

I kind of think the same thing Mandy - so I only buy goodies that we actually like ourselves..... We don't get many trick or treaters here as most of the kids are very young; and only knock on the houses of those folk they already know. So when it's over, we have a supply of choccie that won't go to waste!!

I always make sure I'm out on Halloween. Fortunately, the kids round here are all really nice and always go round with their parents, but I can't be bothered to answer the door every 20 minutes.
