Lets see if we can track the reported storm front coming, so in the South Birmingham area has gone very quiet after a blustery day, the saying calm before the storm springs to mind, so report in your area now and see if it is really coming or not..... hopefully not.

It was very windy around 6.30-7.00 this morning - definitely more blustery than normal; but nothing like the hurricane we were being warned about.....

 

....That said, electricity in my road (not sure about the rest of the village) has only just been restored after going off at 7.30 - and my mobile phone reception only resumed at around 11.30. It's been a fair mixture of sun and showers so far in Bucks.......

I lit a candle outside my back door last night..it was still lit this morning:rolleyes:

I'm assuming it must have been raining chickens last night. Went out this morning to find the front of the house covered with egg!! Luckily none on Zebedee

Here in Leicester we got a fair bit of rain but not much wind. Glad I didn't take the Z to work today due to a couple of the roads being quite flooded in places.
