Lets see if we can track the reported storm front coming, so in the South Birmingham area has gone very quiet after a blustery day, the saying calm before the storm springs to mind, so report in your area now and see if it is really coming or not..... hopefully not.

Still quiet in the South Birmingham / North Warwickshire area and no rain.

Dont you get sea sick anymore?

Luckily sea sickness isn't something I normally suffer from. Although my old boat was an awful sea boat, and after a 3 day tow in the North Sea I was starting to feel a bit off colour.

Just got back from NEC Birmingham no rain or wind at the mo in littleborough but tomorrow will be a different storry

Good. Glad it's quiet up your way. My other half is driving to Huddersfield. That motorway isn't nice at the best of times!

All quiet on canvey island....

Ron Burgundy: Um, Brick, before I let you go, are you still having your celebrity golf tournament?

Brick Tamland: Um, no, no. Too many people died last year, so we're not gonna.

Completely still, calm and dry in Stoke.. I'm totally underwhelmed so I'm going to bed

Constant rain South of Bristol for a few hours now but no wind at all. Pretty warm as well

Rain and some hard wind here in the south, although its very strong, so far not as bad as its been made out to be, however the night isnt over yet and has gradually got worse over he last hour :whistling:

Just a bunch of rain. This 'storm' complete hokum!

Same here. Hope it gets worse after all the hype lol

Few fence panels out in the street, lots of leaves etc. Apart from that from the window, not bad at all. Guess il find out more once I leave to go to work though really.

Just wet in the North East..

Watching the news, was it really bad doun souf?

Isn't it always? Bit like the people huh Kev! ha ;)

No, not bad at all. I don't even think a wheelie bin was knocked over in my street. Certainly can't see any flooding. My Jetta doesn't have a lamp post on it and my garage hasn't been flooded. Complete tosh this 'storm' was. Nothing more than a wet fart!

Loads of trees in the roads and still really windy. I can see me having plenty of fencing jobs coming up!

Midlands a bit wet and breezy this morning, anxious night for those with big trees close by ( me ) and some nasty stuff along the South cost according to Sky News

Nowt unusual here in Stoke either and Sky only making a huge fuss about it because it was worse in the south east, which is obviously most of the country. If it had hit the north they would have spent 5 mins on it

Lost two fence panels, neighbour lost the same, Zeds cover got a bit shredded, no other damage though, breezy and sunny now!

You mean you're worst when you're on the blob!?

Are you a fencer, then Daffy? We've lost a wooden door and probably the fence post and fence it was hung on to.
